Sign Up Options
I have a bunch of sign up pages. They all do exactly the same thing but I enjoy making them. So below you have a number of choices depending on your taste but don't worry - it makes no difference which one you choose - they all go to the same place which is a free subscription to my weekly blog posting where I digest and discuss 6 albums every Sunday (or later in the week if I haven't got round to my write up in time). How good is that?So whether rock or electronica, jazz or classical, is your thing, see if you can recognise the album backgrounds below, and choose your favourite. Try them all if you like. Finally, banter aside, I thank you for your support and look forward to bountiful musical discussions.

All of the Jam, None of the Spam
Subscribers will generally receive my weekly blog update in email form where I digest my chosen 6 albums for the week. Sometimes it will be lengthy, sometimes merely nothing more than a list. In theory changeover day is Sunday and the email should go out on the Monday morning. However things are rarely that well organised at Bamyasi Towers so you may sometimes not get an email and some weeks lucky subscribers may get two! In any case all the usual rules about spam and privacy apply and you can unsubscribe at any time at the bottom of the post.I hope you find it interesting and it helps you discover new music or rediscover some old. Comments and feedback here at the blog, or through the usual social media channels, are always welcome.
Other Cool Music Sites I Like
The Song-Bar
I also like Medium but there isn't a huge amount about music on there (it's mostly all about new tech, relationships, and "how to be more productive" lists, so I decided to fix that with extracts and highlights from my blog now showing at: https://medium.com/6-album-sunday I'm also making this the home for my popular Album Rankings which are read more than anything else. I may gradually transfer the whole blog there in future as it's a very attractive platform.
Note that Medium runs on a membership model-non members generally get to read 5 free articles a month (although some articles, including some of mine, are marked as permanently free). However I do believe that if you follow a medium link from my Twitter (and I post many there) it is automatically free which is pretty cool innit.

A Word On Reviews
"Your review was AMAZING. You did an amazing job. It is a remarkable write-up, more than we could ever ask for."
I'm happy to consider reviewing any type of music and bands and artists are welcome to contact me or send me links through social media (eg. personal DM on Twitter) or to my email address. However I prefer albums and the CD format so if you have a CD there is more chance I will be able to squeeze it into my CD magazine. A complimentary CD is always welcome - alternatively I now have added a donation button below for your consideration and I also have a Patreon account where you can gain direct access to my offer. The blog is my hobby but as I am now getting many requests any contributions will help towards my time.
Therefore if you find Eddy's work valuable, please consider subscribing to his newsletter, becoming a Patron or sending him a virtual coffee below:
Top scoring albums achieving a rating of 9 or above can be accessed from the reviews menu (as can the under 5s which are awarded a special cross-eyed Turkey - look out for those!).

10.0
I've recently started scoring albums in my reviews. This is subjective and of course controversial. Whole articles have been written about the merits or otherwise of rating albums in this way, in particular Pitchfork's unique "out of a 100" system which I've adopted. It sounds bizarre but I actually like it; if you have an album which you aren't sure is a 7 or an 8 you can give it a 7.4!Utterly unscientific but geekily precise

Guest Blogging
I am up for accepting guest posts and reviews so if any budding writer out there fancies reviewing a particular record or gig, or curating a list of 6 of their own favourite albums or current obsessions please contact me with your ideas. As an example this is what Griffin Anthony did here.Another example is this review by Keiran of Can's Future Days album.
Thank you all for listening, and thank you for reading.

Copyright: It's a complicated subject, especially in the age of the internet where everything is available everywhere. Artwork will be credited where appropriate and possible. For the purposes of this blog I mostly use generally available album cover images in order to identify audio recordings under review. The original copyright for an album cover is most likely owned by either the publisher of the work or the artist(s) which produced the recording or cover artwork in question. It is believed that the use of low-resolution images of such covers solely to illustrate and easily identify the audio recording in question qualifies as fair use under copyright law. Words are my own, except where quotations or lyrics are credited. Some material including some reviews are shared under a Creative Commons licence typically this one here.
